Help A Child Project - Tharanikulam, Vavuniya
Distribution of School Books and Stationery for the school children of Tharanikulam Ganesh Vidyalayam, Vavuniya on 14th May 2013.
Tharanikulam is a backward village. The people here have been in the IDP camp since 1990 and resettled. The people are daily wage earners and wander daily looking for work. They do not have regular income and hence cannot maintain their families and cannot cater to the educational needs of the children. The children selected as beneficiaries are those who have lost either one or both parents.
