Help A Child Project Proposal

In Our continuing endeavor to assist children to obtain their education, the Lend-A-Hand Fund is currently carrying out projects for the destitute and displaced children in the following areas in the north and east Sri Lanka where disrupted livelihoods and scarce resources continue to hinder their education.

Panichaiadi (Batticaloa), Trincomalee, Komarasankulam, Mannar, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu, Paranthan, including Ananthakumarasamy IDP Camp-Cheddikulam, IDP Camp-Sithamparapuram, Orphan children in Arobanam Boys Home – D8 Kilinochchi and the Orphan children studying at Vaddakachchi Kilinochchi.

A vast number of orphans and poor children living in these areas from Grade 1 to Grade 12/13, are woefully in need of the basic requisites if they are to progress in their studies without interruption.

To help these children to attend school regularly and not drop out for reasons of want, the Lend-A-Hand Fund seeks your kind assistance in the form of Exercise Books, Ball Point Pens, Pencils, Pencil Sharpeners, Erasers, foot rulers, Mathematical Instruments and other stationary items.

Those willing to help and yet may not be able to offer the items requested for may please consider the option of a financial donation. Even a small contribution can help a child to attend school regularly.
