Distribution of Books and Stationary to the Orphan children at Vaddakachchi, Kilinochchi On 16th July 2011
St. Joseph´s Church vaddakchchi provides temporary abode for 15 orphan children. The widows find it extremely difficult to up keep their children for want of any source of income. They are unable to work away from home as well as care for their children. As a result, the children lack their basic needs and the means of attending school with poor transport facilities worsening their situation.
In order that these orphans attend school regularly the church provides them accommodation on weekdays. The children return home during weekends. This arrangement ensures the Children continue their studies without interruption
